The 2013 Tour de Pologne from July 27 to August 3 will all start off in Trentino, in Italy. Next year’s race will mark the 70th edition, and to celebrate this important milestone the organisers of the Polish stage race, which is part of the UCI World Tour calendar, have decided to start off from Italy, a country that we consider a close friend, where cycling is enormously popular. The close relationship between Italy and Poland is determined not so much by the kilometres which separate the two nations, but by the cultural and historical aspects that tie these two great countries together.
Tentino will have the honour of hosting the two first stages in the 2013 Tour de Pologne, on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of July. This significant project was made possible thanks to the partnership that binds Trentino Marketing (the Trentino territory’s marketing company) to the Tour de Pologne. 2013 will mark the fourth year in a row Trentino Marketing will serve as an official sponsor on the roads of the Polish stage race.
The two Trentino stages in the Tour de Pologne will be officially presented to the media and public on Wednesday, November 7th, at 2:00 p.m., against the splendid backdrop of the Krakow Historic Museum (Rynek Podziemny, Rynek Glowny1, Krakow). The Tour de Pologne will pick up from here in Krakow once it returns within its national borders.
